Mashallah, both ladies are wearing their hijabs in their own way. To cover yourself completely (except hands and feet for most schools of thought) is the correct thing but for a revert who is taking steps to dress more modestly and incorporate hijab it's excellent to take the first step and then improve your wardrobe as you go along.
